Oaks Golf Plantation is located on the site of a former nature preserve.
The first two nines, Fox and Otter, were designed by Gene Hamm. The
Bear Course is a product of Tom Jackson. The three nines feature tree-lined,
mounded fairways and undulating bermuda greens. This challenging course
was rated in the Top Five on the Grand Strand by 'Golf Course Rankings
of America.' The clubhouse features a fully-stocked pro shop and a
convenient snack bar for a delicious lunch and a cold beverage. River
Oaks is also the home of the American Golf Academy. Whether you're
a beginner learning the basics or a veteran seeking some fine tuning,
the American Golf Academy can improve your game.|
