Calabash Golf Links is located in the quiet fishing village of Calabash, five miles north of the NC/SC State Line. Designed by Willard Byrd, in a traditional layout that is challenging yet player friendly. Calabash Golf Links follows the natural contours of the land and has most of its trouble off to the sides. The teeth of the course are in its tifdwarf bermuda greens which, from the fairways look fairly flat. Their contours are virtually invisible from a distance and this visual deception makes them trickier when you reach the putting surface.
